CINOP, the Dutch Centre for Innovation of Vocational Education and Training, sought out MixtMode to support stakeholders in the careers field in The Netherlands. Changing policies in the country call for guidance services to move from face-to-face to e-guidance. However, those impacted by that decision have a range of perspectives and experiences of what e-guidance could be in their setting. They were looking for ways to develop a common language around e-guidance, lessons learned, and to raise awareness of the possibilities.
Over the course of two separate seminars in November 2013, Tannis Goddard presented a framework for e-Guidance to PES and the Ministry of Education and Social Affairs representatives. The framework provides an element of structure that can be used to define and create a road map for changes from face-to-face services to e-services.
